When your patient doesn’t require full stabilisation, Robot Arm™ & Knee Stabilisers are a perfect tool to teach young and SND patients how to keep hands out of harm’s way and prevents grabbing, kicking and bending movements of arms and legs.

Designed for Special Needs patients of all ages, Robot Arm™ & Knee Stabilisers are easy to apply and remove; non-threatening the name evolved from young patients who called them ‘robot arms’ and played being a ‘robot’ whilst wearing them!

  • Velcro® material makes the stabilisers easy to apply and remove as patients learn how to cooperate during their dental visits with gradual lessening of dependence on the stabilisers for control.
  • Robot Arm™ cylinder shape prevents elbows and knees from bending inhibiting sudden, unsafe patient movements during care.
  • Stabilisers store flat, then rolled around arms or legs to form a ‘tubular’ shape secured with Velcro closures.
  • New features include upgraded lightweight construction with increased resistance to bending for ‘stronger’ patients and foam liner for increased patient comfort

Colorful and fun, appealing to parents and patients alike, the Robot Arm Stabilisers are just one in a series of SCC products that help you provide safe, comfortable care to children and people with special needs and help to prevent sudden, unsafe patient movements.
